We're on Connecticut Avenue by the Van Ness-UDC station and UDC. The National Zoo is close, so stop in for a bowl of pho before or after your walk.
The tai pho
Start with the tai pho, made with rare beef. One regular put it simply: "Tai (rare) meat is so fresh, broth is great." She comes in at least twice a week.
Takeout that holds up
We bag the noodles separately, so they don't overcook on the way home. The sprouts stay snappy too.
